Nope, thrust for this aircraft is rated in lbf / kN, not in hp, so the Camel was 20 years plus too early?

Although this aircraft engine is not rated in Horsepower, it could still be said that it was powered by horsepower of a certain colour?  

The common funiture is typically found in an upstairs room & this particular one is preserved for all to see.

Ok here's one. Which experimental aircraft was a mixture of other successful airplanes, including the Dauntless dive bomber and a variety of fighters including the P-51 and P-40. The huge engine was located in the middle of the airplane, driving the two contra-rotating propellers by a drive shaft with an Allison V-3420, a huge 24-cylinder engine that was actually two V-1710 engines mated into one.

Daniel Ficke got it with wingspan.  

All were 172'.  And yes, the B-2 WAS a Northrup design, pre-merger with Grumman.  In fact, Jack Northrup was shown a model of the B-2 prior to his death, and he has been quoted as saying, "Now I know why God kept me here this long."  The fact that the B-2 wingspan was 172', excactly the same as the YB-35/YB-49, turned out to be a happy accident.  It was the 'optimum' wingspan for a flying wing of that size.  I was a Phase Maintenance Tech./Crew Chief on the B-2 from April 1993 (prior to USAF Delivery) to June 1995, then again from June 1996 to February 1998.

B-2 is Northrop/Grumman. It was designed pre merger under Northrop.

They certainly were not all Grumman designs. The B-2 is the only one such, and that's like saying that the Wildcat was a Northrop design.

Didn't the Ki 61 become the Ki 100 when it's inline engine was replaced by a radial engine? I seem to remember (and I could be very wrong) there were a number of engineless airframes built when the engine plant got destroyed by B-29s, a rush program was made to fit the radial. And it was a far better A/C than the K-61
