A thank you from my wife
Posted by Tarasdad on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 8:29 PM

Yesterday I spent several hours replacing the shattered screen on my wife's iPad. As a thank you she took me to the LHS while we were out doing errands. These followed me home:

The paints are for the USS Arizona I'm building and the Dragon Hummel I have in my stash.

No. Trust me, that was a one time deal. If it gets broken again someone else gets to fix it.

I love hearing stories like this one.  Wives/girlfriends are the best when they're supportive of your hobby.  I'm blessed to be married to a woman who is 100% supportive.  It sounds like you've got a great lady by your side as well!

See !

Now when mine were here on this earth, they both had hobbies .When I showed interest in what they were doing ,well, the same result. Also when I fixed something they had struggled with and failed .Didn't make a big deal " Sure , Hon ,if you've tried ,would you like me to look at it? " Worked every time.

You have a great partner there , sounds like what I would call a " Real KeepHer "

Yes, thank God I have a wonderfull supportive wife as well.  She picks from my stash suggesting which model she would like to see built.  If it's not in my stash she wants me to go get one to build, then always is full of compliments on the finished product even though I'm never satsified with the job I have done.

Heh - my wife has no interest in my hobby. She'd rather I spend money elsewhere. I ask her on what - a new boat? She clammed up real fast. LOL!

LMAO...my dream, a boat.  There's limits to the Stepford wife here, she calls a boat " B ust   O ut

A nother   T housand "
