Show your stuff.

I've been in forums where if you make a claim they or a few want to dismiss your thread as having No merit or never happened. Why not give a little glimpse into your shop room or table... Here is part of my system..... Happy holidays guys....

I don't place a whole lot of stock in those "demands" for photos.

the rest of my attempt to show support has been removed, that way people can go back to forgetting about posts in the past insisting that we post photos or we "don't have cred on FSM"

almost gone

There are a few older threads floating around with the "Show us Your Work Bench" dial them up and you will see some great set-ups to die for.One guy Fermis comes to mind.

I don't like being portrayed as a troll. Fact is I enjoy showing my space to modelers. May give them inspiration to make a set up some where in their castle. I'm just trying to break down a barrier. We'll see what happens.. Since I make models of wood I get a lot of flak. It's not about integrity more than good clean fun..

When we bought our house in 1989, we added quite a bit more area, including a "study" for my hobbies.  It seemed like a large enough room back then.  Now, it's getting a bit crowded to say the least.  Here are a few pics from a couple years back.  Alas, the situation has not improved since then...

Did I miss something?  I don't think I ever recall seeing a post on this forum where someone's thread had no merit or never happened.  On OTHER modeling forums, yes, but not here on FSM.

Tarnship? why do you always have to be so kurt? I was responding to your saying it's the other guys problem if they cant believe a guys word . The internet seemed to spawn those wonderments. Case and point there is a thread dealing with how to fabricate a carrier deck. I got some good ideas from that thread enough to post the idea using stir sticks for planking. If you have an Idea or opinion picture it could help somebody... Thanks for your input and experience and comedy!...

echolmberg yup your correct you've never seen anybody question someone's merits within FMS. It's a thread on showing work space.

This is why I much prefer FSM over some of the other "modeling sites" I've looked at.  Anyone, from the beginner to the master can come in here, make a comment, post a picture, make a claim and ask for assistance or guidance and you get honest, welcome information.  I have not seen any negativity from people here (I'm sure they are out there, they seem to be everywhere).  This is a great group and I'm honored for the contacts that I have made and the tips that I have received to make myself a better modeler.  I may not post many pictures, but that is only because the only camera I have is my cell phone and it doesn't take the best photos.  I'll have to add my pics to this thread of my "work-space".

Here's mine. Not fancy by any means but I try to keep it neat. I was working on Revell's old 1/48 F-100 Super Sabre at the time. These pics were taken last spring, but it's still pretty much the same except for more models in the stash up on those shelves:

I added a pic of  your happy modeler just to put a face to the name. Hailing from Fort Collins, Colorado.

Not fancy? That makes my shop look like a hoarders mess. Very nice and comfortable to become one with any project you may assume. Thanks for sharing  dirkpitt77... Happy Holidays.

No demands to post photos. I just know there is as many work spaces as there are modeling techniques. each say a lot about it's owner... Happy Holidays... jelliott523.
