Actually you already can. But not the VIC-1 yet. Like I said, if you're interested, shoot me a message.

Well sadly the modeling on the VIC-1 must come to an early end. Looking at the dimensions in the Technical Manual, I've come to the conclusion that the dimensions for C-2296 and -2297 are inaccurate and hence unusable. Even C-2298 and -10456 are incorrect in placement but correct in magnitude. I can no longer continue with the dimensions given. I was able to successfully complete AM-1780 and C-2298 and -10456.

Unfortunately I had to take down the VIC-1 model temporarily to fix it. The C-2298 and -10456 boxes were massively inaccurate. They were too wide by nearly 1.1mm. Other measurements were off as well. The AM-1780 is pretty much spot on according to given dimensions. Since I found this I have corrected the boxes. I have yet to re-upload the model, though, because I will be modeling the C-2297, -2296 and enough connectors to fill all ports plus extras. Then I will re-upload the model. And as per a suggestion from Pawel, I will also make a model specific to the M1 Abrams with just the C-10456 and -2297. I had tried to find a picture of the Amplifier that's specific to the BFIST but could not.

Since yesterday, I have just about completed the revised model. All that's needed is to add on enough connectors. Watch this space.

Well I'd be able to work on the M-ATV mirrors if my program would stop being unresponsive. I'm trying to obtain a Bronco M1114 HA to get some pictures with some of the sets I've done. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find much (in way of the modeling community, not online retailers) but I keep trying.

M-ATV mirror project hadwbeen scrapped. I got the stem down but couldn't get the design mirror to look like the actual mirror. But I have some news and a pseudo-poll:

I have an idea for a new project currently. I'd like to gauge some interest. A set of some current optical gun sights for infantry firearms not currently seen in plastic or resin. I'm playing the cards relatively close with this but would anyone be interested? Again, that's as set of modern optical gun sights for infantry firearms that is not currently being offered by anyone in plastic or resin. Any interest? I realize they would be very small but I think you might like it.

Well, if you've been wondering what the new sights are, wonder no more. I've recently completed them.

EOTech holographic sights! EOTech Model 553 SU-231/PEQ uss shown in the first picture, followed by the Model 551. Last picture shows the XPS3 and EXPS3 SU-231a/PEQ. Also done is a M40GL grenade launcher sight.

Does anyone have any more suggestions? I've recently started work on a set of ICOM and ASIP SINCGARS. The actual radios are finished but I can't find very much to go off of for the the mounts and amplifiers. But I may have a connection who can help me with this.

And here are some pictures of some of the products I got today. 1 is still in production; a 1/144 set of StuG III/IV schurzen. 1 isn't show: the generic grab handles. They came out poor and undersized. I'll either redo them or take them off completely. Pictures:

Top view of the MCS' of the VIC-3 and VIC-5 sets

AN/VIC-5 pictures.

AN/VIC-3(V) pictures.

AN/VIC-1 pictures.

AN/VIC-3(V) basic set.

LV2 set. This I ordered in Frosted Ultra detail instead of the Frosted Extreme that I ordered the rest of the VIC sets in. Based on the looks of this set I think I'll take out the Ultra Detail option. The markup for me is pretty much the same between materials. Even though it'll cost more, I think it will be worth it to have the Extreme Material based on the differences shown. Opinions?

This is the "1/144 desert base." More like 1/700 and smaller. I'll enlarge it.

M3 Stuart Light guards.

1/700 Mk 29 GMLS missile launcher. Rotates when assembled too.

M113 ramp pulley.

Stowage box latches.

Below are products that I did not design but bought.

1/35 Boomerang III. It looks pretty good from what I see.

1/35 M2HB .50 cal machine gun. Also looks pretty good.

Hello!

My VIC-1 set is on the way according to the tracking info I've got, I hope I can install it soon.

As for ideas, maybe you could do a dome light set, several of ones like that:

Military dome light

A light switch could also come in handy from time to time:

Military vehicle light switch

Good luck with your projects and have a nice day

Any plans on doing uncommon ships in 1/700?  Like the USS Cyclone-class, USCGC Reliance-class, USNS Powhatan-class fleet tug...

I can't do full ships. Too big and would be too expensive. Think very high quality resin kits and more. Possibly even into what Dragon/CH White Box Tigers go for on eBay. And too complex for me to do right now.

Wow, those parts look awesome, I don't have that much use for them myself but gee it still amazes me that you can print up complex stuff like that.

What you see isn't necessarily complex, though. But it would be rather difficult to cast in plastic or resin. Currently I'm designing a "tough" case for the iPhone 6. That's going to be more complex because it had hollow parts and a functioning hinge.

Ok, I kinda "lied." I finished a model of the M3X SU-233/PVS weapon illuminator first. Here's a picture of the render:

There's also another version I made based around a cylinder. I'm testing it out to see which is cheaper than the other.

It turns out that the cylinder version is cheaper by a little bit.

I recently started a new project and it's a big one.

This is part of the engine deck. Louvers are modeled in.

Little bit of detail.

And a 155mm L/40 T7/T7E1 gun barrel. The blast deflector is a separate part. And yes, the gun in the bottom picture us longer because I lengthened it after finding out how long it should be in 1/35. 171mm.

Hello!

OK, reviving an old one, but I have an idea - I need some weapons for my 1:72 choppers and I have real problems locating any. I'm talking about 1:72 M60 machine guns. Ma deuces could also be put to good use. I could also use some M79 bloopers and CAR15 carbines. I happen to have some M16s, but maybe people would be interested as well.

What do you say? Thanks for reading and have a nice day
