Corrected version of Jablonski's "Flying Fortress "?
Posted by mississippivol on Sunday, October 20, 2019 8:13 PM

Got to see the newly refurbished "Ye Olde Pub" B-17 at the airport today. At their merchandise table, they had a copies of Jablonski's "Flying Fortress" book in papaerback. Said it was a corrected edition, printed in 2014, but I don't know what was "corrected". I have the original edition, and didn't realized there was a later edition.  Google has been silent to me so far. Anyone know?

I also have the original hardbound edition. I wonder what was corrected.

People who have both editions are writing that they don't know. There is apparently no explanation in the newer book. Both have pretty extensive appendices either included or referrenced, maybe those changed.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

That's kind of strange. After nearly 50 years between editions, I assumed some newer information came along, but item descriptions online state that the correction came from the author's original notes.
