Yes. They are really good. Their focus is on RC stuff.

I'd like make a plea of sorts. There was another thread here recently where a post just ripped another company based on a bad experience. That situation resolved itself in a less than ideal way for the customer, but it all worked out ok in the end. Just beware of individual experiences, good or bad, and always try to resolve any problems with the attitude that usually all parties want it to go ok.

I also have had good luck with them, both RC stuff and static scale.

I ordered once...no complaints.

They run occassional "weekly" sales for Hasegawa kits. A selection of kits (usually "special edition") for a week...then another selection for week 2...and so on. Having done some cross-checking, on other sites, for the same kits...prices seem pretty much equal, as if it's a market wide clearance, rather than a "sale" for that site. Good marketing though, I guess...got me to the site!

A thumbs up from me, too. Yes

Like some of the gents above, I ordered RC stuff from them and everything was first class.

I've done a lot of business with Tower over the years, they are a reputable company.  That said there is no silver bullet for getting the best price. I've been doing a lot of business with Scale Hobbyist, since 2012, and they are terrific as well.  Sometimes Tower has a 15% off and free shipping over $100 dollars deal. So buying the Hobbyboss M1070 (for instance) you would save a fair amount, which could cut your finishing supplies bill.

Tower Hobbies is as famous as them come in RC world.  I have done countless amounts of business with them as well as anyone I know in the hobby.

Here is me circa 1993 thumbing through my fathers Tower Hobbies catalog!

I've been dealing with Tower Hobbies since the early 1990's. They've always been a reputable and upstanding company in my experience. Their prices are pretty good and they always seem to have some kind of special going on.

I've never really had too many problems buying on line (Sprue Bros, Squadron, Tower, Roll Models etc).  The only place I won't buy from is Ebay - Too many folks trying to rip you off (and if you complain to the folks running the site, you're the one who is at fault!).  However, you did the right thing by asking for information you didn't have.
