Well..... Star Trek is set in the 23rd century, so I guess i'll just put myself in" Temporal Stasis " ( Hibernation) and wait for you to get there. By then you will have the "Real thing" to use for "Reference"

( Bring food!     I will be "HUNGRY" !!! )

Them guns do look nice I've been wondering about 3d printed pieces for my fine molds falcon just didn't know about how smooth the finish was on them.

The 4" and 20's I got in 1/72 were in the "frosted extreme detail" and are virtually ready for paint.  I also got (awhile back) a 4" and 20's in 1/144 for another Gato, and they were just as nice.  Order out if they happen to be the frosted extreme, I think you'll be happy with them.  Set them out where the sun can get at them for a couple of days to finish hardening them up.

Somtimes i think it would be easier and safer to smuggle illegal drugs or another woman into the house.

The only thing I "really hide" from my wife, is when I have a Chili Dog for lunch .....

I've been quite productive since my last update as I have managed to add a couple of kits off my wishlist.

My pre-order Airfix Sea Fury arrived the other day. Very excited about this. Looks to be a very nice kit.

I've been waiting a long time to find one of these at a reasonable price. Finally scored one on a FB sales group.

And then a little added bonus was this nice kit. Already had a couple of road wheels and one front wheel assembled. But, hey, for $20.00 it was worth it.

Feeling happy right now.Big Smile

Cheers, Joe

This is my first Gundam I've ever bought.   Wouldn't normally buy one of these but there is one on display in my LHS that made me want to try one.

Boy are there a lot of pieces in one of these!

John: Never built a Gundam kit either but that is totally badass looking! Hope you'll post the finished results.

I've picked up too many kits to list lately!  I've been on a buying spree.  I have some extra cash to play with lately and decided to bulk up my stash.  It's probably doubled in size.  I think there is a total of 43.  Usually I'm right around 20.

The kits for my "Planes of Niagara"

The regular build whenever stash.

A few bigger ones buried, lol.

I love looking through my stash and discovering a kit I forgot I had. It's like Christmas. You just doubled that fun.

Nice Keyda, got your work cut out for a little while.  Worked on B-52's next door to the SR's back in '73, absolutely amazing aircraft.

Last month I added Wing Nut Wing's Sopwith Camel to my stash.

Shortly after that, I found an ancient kit on eBay and managed to "steal" it from another high bidder - old Monogram baby blue box kit of the Pylon Racers (F8F Bearcat and P-51B Mustang).  This gives me just about every one of Monogram's blue box releases, which dated from the mid-1960s into the very early years of the 1970s, and just so happens to have fallen right into my introduction to this hobby as a 3-year-old.  I have many good memories about what came in those blue boxes, so over the past few years I've been picking them up when I find them.  There are still a couple of helicopters to locate, and the F11 Tiger as Blue Angel kit as well.  And thus far, I've built the F8F Bearcat, P-39 Airacobra, and F4F Wildcat.  Keeping the boxes, will likely find a way to mount them on a wall display.

Today I got a Tamiya Dewoitine D.520 off eBay and grabbed Airfix's new Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 to the stash.

Snuck out of work yesterday and went down to the local hobby shop :)

The Defiant will be my first Airfix kit in 20 or 30 years, couldn't resist after all the great feedback on this site.  It looks really, really nice.

Thanks,

John

Recently sold off a few un wanted kits on e-bay and decided to use what i got to add to my Norfolk airfields collection. I got 2 Tamiya Mossies, the Mk VI which will have the Paragon ASH radome fitted, which i picked up from S Africa thanks to GM making me aware of it.

And a NF XIII/XVII which will be turned into a NF XXX with a new engine and some scratch work in the pit.

And a Revell Halifax Mk III.

That takes me up to 33 out of 37 airfields.

After the recent, potentially terrible, news regarding Revell, their kit's have been flying off of the LHS shelves. I've been watching the 1/32 Me 262B1/U1 since it came out in 2016, and payed even closer attention once my LHS got it in 2017, though I never pulled the trigger. Anyway, after the club meeting today, I grabbed the last one.

Side note, this is first kit I've paid full price for in almost 8 months.

Thats meant to be a really nice kit waggish.

Interesting what you say about the Revell kits. Went ito the LHS today and the shelves are full of them. Seems as though hardly anyone has noticed the Revell issues over here.

I found an interesting Revell kit in the clearance aisle in Hobby Lobby today. It is the Spaceship Two and White Knight Two. Originally $27.99 but priced $7.50.

I'm not much of an aircraft modeler but I've been wanting to get a Hawker Hunter for awhile now because it's just a beautiful looking machine. I think this is new? Maybe someone can fill me in. $19 from the UK with free shipping! Couldn't resist.
