Assembly Instructions for Airfix 1:72 DHC Beaver?
Posted by Ugruk on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 12:08 PM

Hi Folks,

I've just been given an Airfix 1:72 DHC Beaver 2 kit, (No.03017).

All the parts are there including the decals (which may work with some extreme TLC).

But the assembly instructions are missing and there are lots of very small fiddly bits.

Does anyone have their old instructions lying about that they could scan and send me electronically? Also any tips would be appreciated if you remember the problems you faced from so long ago.

I'm at mike@folklore.bc.ca

I'm pretty sure that Revell of Germany used the same molds.  I recognize the parts from when I built the kit decades ago.

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.

Hi Cdn Colin, and everyone else. Thanks for taking the time to help.

I now have the instructions (Hornby Customer Service were very helpful) and, with the aid of the Windows "snapshop" tool, was able to zoom in and print detailed parts of the instructions' pages.

Fiddly little beast...
