I am beginner airbrusher, bought a badger model 105. I find it uses a lot of paint, even if use light pressure on the trigger. Just wondering if i switch the needle to a .5, would that restrict paint usage?
Thank you for your response
you can adjust the paint flow
Nick.
crown r n7 you can adjust the paint flow
lower air pressure from your compressor will also reduce paint flow. Needle position and air pressure are the two biggest factors in paint flow.

If you switch to the fine setup badger sells it would help. You need to replace needle, nozzle and tip when you switch the size. I use a 105 and it is a great airbrush once you are comfortable with thinning, needle setup, air pressure. Just like any airbrush.
Good luck.
