If you are willing to part with individual kits, email me rilealee@yahoo.com. I'm not in a position to buy a entire collection.

Yea the pm function is not working and was reported.

I will agree for businesses to buy classified ads but not for us non business folks wanting to either thin or nurish our stash.

It's been always said they don't do trade/sell here because they want people to buy classified ads in the mag - nowadays it sounds like they would also expect people to communicate via post pigeons, too...

Anyhow - HEAVYGUNS, I tried to send ou a PM but that doesn't seem to work neither... Would you care to send me an e-mail to pmroczko(at)pmroczko.nazwa.pl?

Thanks in advance, have a nice day

Paweł

I agree with PJ. I see no harm for a simple Trade/Sell section. I guess it's understandable they don't want to deal with dishonest sellers and buyers. A few ideas to try:

eBay

Your local Craigslist

Other forums you belong to that allow trades/selling of kits

PM exchanges through members here

Armorama.com has a for sale section. I still don't get why we can't have a swap/sell section here.

Very sorry to hear that your leaving. I might suggest thinking about it however I do not know your particular situation.

Deans Hobby Stop in Michigan advertises that he buys collections, his contact info is www.deanshobbystop.com,  dean@deanshobbystop.com, or by phone 989-720-2137, fax 989-720-0937.

If your looking to recoup value e-bay or similar platform may be a better way to go.

As you may know the open sale of kits is prohibited here on the open forums however there is private messages and e-mail with other interested members that is less regulated.

Good luck and know you will be welcomed back if you choose to return.

we're modelers it's what we do

Hello!

That's really a very sad thing to hear...

So what do you have? Anything vietnam related?

What happened, can you write about that?

Wish you all the best

Selling my collection
Posted by HEAVYGUNS155 on Saturday, December 11, 2021 4:59 AM

Well folks I am in need of some help with selling my collection, unfortunately after 30-35 yrs I have lost interest in the hobby so I am selling EVERYTHING. I want to sell everything as one lot. I have built and unbuilt kits most are in 1/35 scale. I have a few cars in 1/24-1/25 scale. I also have a large assortment of detail items. Any help would be appreciated.

                                         Thank You
