I got a model for Christmas-Bane's Tumbler

My oldest daughter surprised me and got the Moebius Tumbler from the Dark Knight Rises. It's a 1/25 scale kit with an option to build it into the regular Batmobile.

It also includes a two-piece white plastic Bane figure in a fighting pose.

I built the original 1/35 scale Tumbler by Bandai and it was an awesome model kit. This one is quite a bit bigger, but doesn't seem as crisp.

Interestingly, it doesn't come in black. The model is molded in sand colored plastic to go with the desert camouflage scheme the vehicle sported during the movie.

It does have black plastic wheels and black vinyl tires and clear window pieces.

She's a fan of Tom Hardy and it included a Bane figure and knows I build models and like Batmobiles. Interesting gift, I like it and look forward to building it soon.

Congrats and have fun with the project, don't forget pictures.

I thought I would mention that before someone else does.

My favorite Barmobiles were the 1960s version made from the Futura and Michael Keaton's version.

Maybe someday there should be a group build for cars from movies and T.V.

I'm a big collector of Batmobiles. I have several of the Keaton ones, Kilmer, Clooney, West, Bale and Afleck. Polar Lights did one for a cartoon I have as well.

I used to have a few collector cars in metal that included the comic book version as well as the 1849s version with the biig face in front of the radiator.  Had t sell them to help with bills and food.
