You can still get those around here. I have a few fromthe late 60s that I bought in a drug store with the idea of painting a B-24 in desert colors. It appears they are still useable but I don't have any subjects in mind in the future.
I stall have quitt a few of those. Years old but still work fine. I use the silver red and green all the time.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

wpwar11 It must be those tiny Testors paints in the square shaped jar. Only a guess.

Could be. I recently bought a bunch of those from Hobby Lobby. Talk about a great paint for brush painting! They're awesome, and if you use MRP paints underneath them, you can remove any mistakes with the enamel with paint thinner. It does no damage at all to the MRP to do that. The metallic silver is the best for the bare metal parts on landing gear. To me it looks much better than a Molotow paint pen, and doesn't have the nasty solvents in it that will lift any paint in existence.
[/quote I like to use Testors flat aluminum for the same process. I often have MRP below it. Yes, it does brush paint beautifully.

I am missing it also.

Blast from the past, I have not bought one of these since the early 70's,but I like enamel washes and I finally used up my Modelmaster enamel black,so I remembered these for generic colors. Were they always so tiny??? Or did they just seemed bigger when I was a kid, anyway it worked well for an enamel pin wash on my cobblestone street base for my JS-2 build.
