That Was:
The comment uttered by my landlady, Minus a few extra words. Why? She found my AMT " Ford" LEVA Car in her Freezer! Freezing does work. It practically fell apart! The seller did not lie either. I usually don't buy Glue Bombs( I would consider this one a gentle one) But in running around I found this.
Any of the older special interest Releases by AMT are Costly .Especially "In the Box Unopened!" The Leva Car was anywhere from 90.00 bucks low, and as high as 300.00 Bucks! This one fills the Bill just fine. Of course this doubly applies to Early JoHan releases too.
Here's a proof that Buying a " Bomb" can be fun. It is tricky buying this way. Yes, the market is always Buyer Beware, but see! There is not a reason to avoid this market level. Just be careful! I splurged once on The Johan Chrysler Turbine car kits. I wound up with three and not one was molded in the so called " Turbine Bronze" or the Reddish color they were molded in. The colors I got Were Dark Purple, Grey and Blue
What the Seller says can be read between the lines so to speak. Mine was truthful without strain! Even to the color! It was the pale tan( " mauve?" ) that it came in. No Paint applied.
