Hi!

I have been doing this for years. I only had failures a few times, because I didn't check the seal in the top. That's on me! T.B.

As long as the new jar is clean and seals tightly it should be fine.Label the new jar also .

Maybe a dumbe question...I have some paint that came in a plastic jar with a very nerrow oppening which is inaccessible with a brush. It has to be squeezed out onto a tray or something before dipping the brush. Is it ok to pour the paint into another jar? Will the quality somehow be affected? The new jar is small so there will not be much air in it.
