I had posted this question elsewhere and I got more definitive answers to my question there than I did here.
Sorry did not mean to cause offense!
Hi Mike:
I had the same problem with the regular Torino Kit. I just added a section forward of the Floor wells in the front. That way it didn't interefere with the exhaust system.
Mr Mike - you posted a very specific question and it could be that there are only a couple hundred people in the world knowing the answer. How many of them care enough to reply?
But if you react ungraciously to the answers you get (OK, not the best ones) I bet you're going to get NO answers for your next questions... So please, acknowledge that people are at least trying to help, but it also might be that you're on your own with this one.
Good luck with your build and have a nice day
Paweł

And, it has nothing to do with my question!
Lemme look into this one Mike. I've got the AMT and Revell versions.

Eugene Rowe sorry for the lack of replies but I made the Monogram 69 Talledega and it was not warped.

Ok. Why did you post pictures of a Monogram Torino Talledega? My question was about the AMT Ford Torino Cobra.
Joe (Mustang1989) has this kit. Maybe he can chime in.
Thanks,
John
I have the AMT '69 Torino Cobra model kit No. 31745-1HD and I decided to look at the kit and I discovered that the chassis does not line up with the fender openings. If I line up the rear of the chassis with the fender openings, the front holes are off by 1/8 inch and vise-versa. Has anyone else come across this? I have had this kit in the stash for a while now and the store that sold it to me has long since gone out of business. I do have a solution to this issue and I will impliment it when I decide to build the kit. Has anyone else discovered this?
