Ya gotta love those old school toy stores that still stock models. That place sure has a mighty fine selection. Better than several "hobby shops" and far better than Hobby Lobby has carried in the ten years or so that I've been going to that chain.
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

Opie Taylor?
Really Tojo! Wow! Na, Just Kidding. Whatta a coincidence to find those nice models there. I found some at a Outlet here in Shertz,Tx. at a Mom and Pop type store at a mall that is slowly coming Back from near extinction. They had a great deal of Stem stuff then right in the middle, some very Expensive kits from the different Mfgrs.
My question. the Stem stuff is the same as we learned in school years ago. Except maybe miniature Robotics? Howcome they don't teach that stuff in school? I guess the teachers ain't smart enough? Plus most teachers I know can't or won't figure out how to paint and glue a model together. I know three teachers in my neighborhood who teach Math and Science. They cannot figure out orthographic drawings. Go Figure
fox Did you leave any behind for someone else or did you take them all home? Stay Safe. Jim

I did have my eye on the Swordfish and the P-38,but resisted,I do have 2 coming in the mail though.
I agree, a very nice selection for a small town..
And you said the name of the store was OP Taylor? And was not located in Mayberry? LOL! Let's just say, I would shop in that store just for the name alone!

Great mix of stuff. I figure the purchasing dude wanted to cover the full range of models and did so on the quality side. Awesome.
Thanks,

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
I was in downtown Brevard NC today, stopped in an oldtime toy store called OP Taylor,to my surprise they had a pretty nice model section, lots of quality kits at decent LHS prices.
