Interesting builds! I certainly never knew there was a 6 wheeled race car...you just taught me something new...

Real G, that paper kit is interesting. I wonder if I could use something like that to get some of my students into modeling. I'll have to look into that. Good stuff!
Thanks for sharing,

Nice work Neal. At least you have something to show (and not throwing shade on the folks that don't), plus you get bonus points for doing something for your sister!

plasticjunkie All good G. Lets see how 23 goes.

Agreed 100%!
“Ya ya ya, unicorn papoi!”
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Tayrrell looks very good.
Well guys, things happen. I faffed around with a bunch of kits this year but didn't finish them.
There's alway next year!
armornutTwo more than I've finished Neal...
Along with Eaglecash, that makes 3 of us. Idid have a lot of bench time last yr, it was a lot of stuff new to me and was slow going. Even for me.
I know what went into that Tyrell F-1, and it is no small accomplishment in itself, G.
I dunno - both of those are cool! I love the 'Totoro' diorama!
I didn't get much more done. I'm waiting to post anything because I'm hoping to get a few more things wrapped up over the remaining two weeks or so left in the year.
Assuming we use the Western New Year... hmmmm if I go with Chinese New Year I've still got a month and half.....

As I develop my skills and my standards are higher builds take longer and longer. Finished two this year. My only goal for 2023 is to complete a 1/32 Spit for a friend. I'd like to tackle a 1/48 Zero and enter another finescale group build. I had so much fun with the F1 group this year. What's planned and what actually happens are often completely different.
I'm in the same boat as Armornut. Started my F-4B project in November of 2021...not quite finished yet.
Nice builds, Real G!

Thanks guys!
No worries Armornut, let's be inspired by the other more productive guys to get our modeling juices flowing! I have a big project planned for next year.
I like the Tyrell six wheeler!
I'm slow but I go.
Two more than I've finished Neal....yes next year will be better.
Cool builds, keeps my juices flowing for my Tyrell. Such a neat vehicle and I have 2.
we're modelers it's what we do
Quality over quantity. Very nice pieces. Well done.

A lot !! And I mean A LOT!!
2024 Kits on deck / in process / completed

I thought it was a little early to concede, but who am I kidding? Christmas is coming hard and fast, leaving very little free time. Only two crossed the line this year for me, and neither were representative of what I usually build.
The first was a paper craft kit I made for my sister. The scene was from the Miyazaki film "My Neighbor Totoro":
The other was a kit that took a really long time for me to screw down the courage to build, Tamiya's oddball Tyrrell P34 F-1 car:
Maybe next year will be better.
