An apology
Posted by Dodgy on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 2:05 AM

G'day all. To all of you who are participating in the Go Figure and Absent Friends GB's and to those running GB's in which I have enrolled, I offer a sincere apology. I am not able to access the associated threads properly and this is preventing me from participating. I am not sure whether the problem lies at my end, or with the website. However, Tim is looking into the website side of things for me and I'm having my end of things checked out by a computer tech. Hopefully I can get this sorted soon and get things back to normal.

Cheers,

Dodgy

I think he's referring to the page numbering once a thread goes beyond a certain number of pages.  "1 - 5" suddenly changes to "<- -1  3" or something like that.  Its borked for me too.  Sometimes I can view all of the pages, sometimes I can't, but every time its pretty clunky.

FWIW, me too.

I don't routinely chime in on board issue/complaint threads but if the page numbering thing is what Dodgy is referring to, I must agree, that bug does make an active GB thread very difficult (to say the least) to navigate.

Good that it is being looked into. At my end, it is an inconsistant bug which makes it even harder to troubleshoot for our hosts at FSM.

I presume you are asking the OP, Dodgy. But I'll chime in too. Firefox 109.0.1 64-bit for me. Been having the issue intermittently for a long time.

Hopefully they get the matter resolved quickly Dodgy.

I'm in both GBs but sadly haven't really contributed much to either recently...
