Agreee with tojo72 - they AB very similar to Tamiya and hence very well. I have only used the real colors thinner so far, but I hear you can also use the Tamiya thinner as they are meant to work well with different thinner as long as acrylic lacquer safe.

This would be an excellent question to bring up in the airbrushibg and painting forum.

What do you want to know about Real Colors,I use them and find them to act much like Tamiya, they spray very nicely using regular hardware store lacquer thinner, others say they use Mr Surfacer Leveling Thinner, they have a very large color range and I like them so far.

I have not tried those metal colors you speak of.

Welcome to the forum!

You might want to take a look in the Painting & Airbrushing forum, too:

https://cs.finescale.com/fsm/tools_techniques_and_reference_materials/f/18.aspx

Otherwise, I can't help you, myself.  I've never used AK paints, because I have a large supply of older brands, eg, Testor, Model Master (now out of production), Tamiya, Andrea, Vallejo, Lifecolor, Gunze-Sangyo.  I won't need to replace them for many more years.
