For those of you who are looking for reference photos of certain aircraft, the Canada Aviaition Museum has a photo library of it's collection, albeit there's only a couple of photos of the museum's actual aircraft.
However, for each aircraft in the museum's collection, there is an extensive collection of pictures in a black and white photo gallery . These photos come from many different sources. Aircraft include the Sopwith Camel, Avro 504K, Sopwith Snipe, Nieuport 17, DC-3, Boeing 247D, Mustang, Bf-109-F4, Spitfire, Me-163 Komet, He-162, Liberator, Lancaster, F-86, MiG-15, CF-101 Voodoo, Harrier and many, many more. Their website is:

Look in the section entitled "The Collection"
I hope this information is useful to you during the research and construction of your next model...well, it will be if the museum has the aircraft you're building in it's collection...if not, it just ain't gonna help!
Good luck.
