WWII Ambulance Model

  • Who makes and where can I find a WWII plastic model of a WWII Ambulance, preferrably in 1/35 scale. I have an elderly friend who drove on in the Battls of the Buldge. I would like to build one and finish it with his units markings. Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.

  • There was an old Peerless Max Dodge WC ambulance. The molds are now owned by Italeri and have been released by Testors and most recently Bilek as a Signal Corps truck.

Here is a link to an eBay auction of one:

  • If you could win that auction, you will be well ahead.  Both Roll Models and Great Models show the Bilek kit, at about $38, plus shipping.  Some other on-line shops may have it also, if you do some searching.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

  • Italeri has a WW2 Jeep Ambulance too.
