WWII Ambulance Model
Posted by WWII MODELER on Thursday, March 27, 2008 10:09 AM
Who makes and where can I find a WWII plastic model of a WWII Ambulance, preferrably in 1/35 scale. I have an elderly friend who drove on in the Battls of the Buldge. I would like to build one and finish it with his units markings. Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.

There was an old Peerless Max Dodge WC ambulance. The molds are now owned by Italeri and have been released by Testors and most recently Bilek as a Signal Corps truck.

Here is a link to an eBay auction of one:

If you could win that auction, you will be well ahead.  Both Roll Models and Great Models show the Bilek kit, at about $38, plus shipping.  Some other on-line shops may have it also, if you do some searching.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

Italeri has a WW2 Jeep Ambulance too.
