Good job! I commanded one of the active army's last M60A1-equipped tank companies at Ft. Carson, CO, in 1984-85, then led the battalion's headquarters company until just before the battalion finally received its M60A3s later in '85. Hard to believe that venerable beast remained in active service as long as it did. I'm just glad I didn't have to go up against T-64s and T-72s in the M60A1. . . .
