It’s the Lunar Tank (armed with atomic ray gun) from Republic Pictures’ 1952 “Radar Men From the Moon,” the first Commando Cody serial. A regular contributor to FSM’s Reader Gallery for decades, Joel says this is his first scratchbuilt submission. “Since I’m a retired packaging engineer, tag stock and foamcore were my choice for materials,” he writes. He finished with Krylon spray metallics and hand-brushed the battle damage. Scale measurements were not available.
