Rob Missall

Jersey Village, Texas

Rob learned that a friend of his parents was a World War II veteran wounded in Normandy on D-Day and later assigned to the 692nd Tank Destroyer Battalion. The unit fought along the Siegfried Line as the Allies pushed into Germany. So, Rob built a trio of related models for his parent’s friend; one was AFV Club’s 1/35 scale M10. Rob airbrushed it with Vallejo acrylics and finished with artist’s oils and Tamiya weathering powders.
