Here is Academy Models’ 1/72 scale P-51B Mustang in an old aquarium.

Model was made for an old friend of mine for Christmas. I scratchbuilt some of the interior and cut of the flaps to move them into the down position, since this is how they were normally kept on the flight line. I painted with Testors.

I didn’t want any animals to damage the model so I built a diorama representing the wooden flight line in England in 1944, within an old plastic one-gallon aquarium.  The aquarium I cut in half and polished all the scratches out of the sides. The top was made with Plexiglas and the deck with balsa wood.
