Doug painted his Tamiya 1/48 scale Mitsubishi A6M3 with AK Interactive Xtreme Metal and Real Color and used AK's chipping fluid medium to produce the weathering. Insignia were painted and chipped, too, while kit decals distressed with a hobby blade comprise the rest of the markings. Doug used Flory washes for more weathering was with Flory washes. “The kit goes together great and is a blast to make,” he says.
