Marcello built the Revell 1/700 scale British cruiser HMS Tiger, originally released by Matchbox in 1979. He enhanced it with the Atlantic Models HMS Tiger Detail Set, rigged it with a combination of human hair and Caenis thread, and made the radio antennas from tungsten wire. Marcello’s corrections and additions included increasing the height of the hangar by 2mm (to make it more true to scale), modifying the Seacat launchers (which are inaccurate both in the model and the photo-etched metal set), and printing custom decals for the Sea King helicopter.
