1/48 Hasegawa UH-3 tail wheel
Posted by Scotty T on Sunday, January 4, 2015 5:58 PM

Might sound like a weird request, but during my last move the tail wheel of my 1/48 UH-3 is now missing.  It is an older kit, built when I was in flight school, and not my greatest work, but I like and has sentimental value....anyone have any ideas, or have a spare tail wheel?  Thanks all

Maybe snag a 1/48 SH-3 somewhere and make a quick resin copy of the tail wheel?

It's a current release, go to Tower Hobbies, the Hasegawa distributor and they will probably take good care of you.

After a search and trying to make my own by talking to a guy at a LHS, I thought I could find it in my garage.....yes, futile. I was searching through sprue bros and found metal replacement gear for the H-3!  Thanks for the tips guys

If you haven't already ordered the replacement (or desire to build another) Squadron has them on sale for $10.  Link
