Just finished this one. Had a great time building it and would recommend this kit to anyone.

Great looking clean build. Good photos too.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Beautiful. Does the kit come with rotor droop? Is there a engine?

Very nice.  I will be doing a review of the Arctic version soon on Aeroscale.  It looks very nice as well.

OH' man that looks so real, again I feel so inadequate. Chris you're an artist !  But tell me did that chopper have an old Pratt & Wittknee R-2800 engine?  model on dude !    OH' yeah sorry about my spelling, I'm Dyslexic. Such a strange thing to be, when I was tested at 27 years old. They,"the doctors" who did the testing. Could not understand how someone who's spelling, grammar,& math, were so bad. Could read on the the second year college level. "Praise Allah", for the Franklin Spelling Ace, the calculator, Webster's Dictionary,   and Mrs Steed my fourth & fifth grade teacher, who instilled a love of reading and history in me.

The screening around the engine is particularly nice - was that part of the kit or an aftermarket addition?

Thanks guys! Everything you see was in the kit box, including the motor screens and the rotor droop. The only thing on my model that did not come in the kit was the 'electrical wire' for the winch. And yes there is an engine, a very detailed one.

Very nice.  I was looking at buying one of these some time ago but have since decided it's probably too big (in terms of ceiling space required mostly), and the pe work is a bit beyond my skills.  So instead I bought the 1/72 Italeri H-34 (all of my large helo's I plan on building will be in 1/72).

I will be doing a review of the Arctic version soon on Aeroscale.
