Hello!

So you want to convert the Hasegawa kit to show a Westland machine?

Some day I want to do the opposite in 1:72 - turn an Airfix Westland in to an SH-3.

Good luck with your build and have a nice day

Sa-Weet!!!

Love me some SeaKing action!

Not real keen on the markings, but none-the-less...it's a SeaKing and will be awesome! I did this kit some years ago (decals were trash, so I painted all the markings)...found another at a vendor table, for a REASONABLE price...someday...someday!!!

Thanks Buddy. To "Aussiefy" the King needed some work. The 2 Portside Windows need to be filled in and a new Window cutout further back on the Fuselage. The work has started and will have some more soon.....Cheers mark

The new Portside Window has now been added and the Interior has been added to the Starboard Fuselage. The fit was not great so some Epoxy was used to keep it in position. More to come soon.....Cheers mark

Hello!

Lookin' good!

I've got two questions:

What did you use to smooth the windows that were filled in?

How about that sonar well blanking plate: was that helo ever equipped with sonar? Was it removed temporarily or for good? Reason I ask: I wonder how this detail should look like on an American SH-3 with sonar temporarily removed for rescue duty.

Good luck with your build and have a nice day

Paweł
