Frustrating. We have been clamoring for years for a accurate 1/32/1/35 UH-1D/H, and AH-1G, and KH goes 1/48.

Look at it this way. We have found some mistakes and a few omissions in the 1/48 kit. KH wants to eventually do 1/35. This will give us a chance to fix these errors in 1/35.
