Sounds pretty good.  What scale(s) will you be doing the Pave Hawk and USS Kidd helos in?  Be sure to post pics of your builds here too.

Rotorwash will be happy to hear that I'm getting back to my roots. BatonRouge Scale Modelers will be putting on a series of local library displays and our theme this year will be Desert Storm Plus 20.  For the theme i will be working on a Pave Hawk, up converted from a UH60L.  This time I am goign to mount my doors on magnets so they wont break off..same withthe weapons.  I have the forward cabin converted and the magnets installed in teh door, cut out the hell hole extension for the hook and have my mods planned based on my previouis UH60L experience.   I thnk this one will go faster since I know more of what I am doing and I wont be installing all the troop seats.   Fireball Modelworks is going to cut some custom decals for me, all I need is the ship number and broken star and bar in 35tth scale.

After that is over and i get out of the summer madness that my life is now, I have also been asked by the USS Kidd to build up a display of medevac helos for thier coming UH-1 display.  Ray.....its finally going to happen, they are going to plant a Huey upstairs in the museum!   they will have to knock down a wall to do it, but its goign to happen.

I plan to start that display with the OH13 and work up to the current Q bird from there.

So, between four complete costumes to be built in the next 87 days and keeping the rest of my life afloat, looks like I have plenty to do between then and now!

If you aren't having fun, you're doing it wrong! Build to please yourself and they will flame you every time!
