Kits that need a little TLC are good for practice.
This one needs more than "a little TLC". It is confused between a B and a C. It is actually closer to a C model. It would be easier to make it a C than fix it as a B. Like I said, to me it is not worth the effort. There are better kits out there, maybe not in 1/48, but there are in other scales.
This article on Scale Rotors, and its replies, lays out your options of what to fix and add/remove to build either an A, B, C, or E/M version from it. None are rally that easy to do accurately.
By the way, the weapons configuration on it is inaccurate as well. Go figure.
