Unfortunatly I cannot afford to buy another kit, not to mention this one is 75% done.
N417NA is indeed a Huey II. There are some significant differences between the UH-1H and the Huey II. The biggest being the Huey II has a right handed tail rotor with a wider chord and a wide chord 212 main rotor. If you can find a Italeri UH-1D/H in 1/48 it is basically a Huey II right out of the box. YOu can contact via e-mail at Ultrasaurosathotmaildotcom.
Unfortunatly your pics are just red x's. My filter blocks most hosting sites other than mynetimages or imageshack. PM me and I will give you my email addy. I am building this bird.

It is the old ESCI kit. The main issues are the cabin doors have different sized windows when they should be the same and the engine cowling is too fat in the middle. Fireball Modelworks makes a set that includes replacement doors. Are you building an old NASA UH-1H or a more modern Huey II which they currently use?
Here are a few pics for you of the older UH-1H
I have AMT's Rescue 911 issue of a 1/48 UH-1 Huey. I am building it as a NASA bird. What kit are the molds from originally? I know AMT did not tool it.
