Just got back from my local HL store and the kit was in stock with a regular price of $47.95. This week, that would be $23.97...great price!

Enjoy your modeling...

Go to www.hobbylobby.com and you can see where all of their locations are.

I could have picked one up in Baton Rouge last weekend, but the $50 was too hard to part with especially after I had just spent $35 in New Orleans at another Hobby Shop on a fixed wing! I'm going to wait a while I think. Spoiled by Hobby Lobby 50% off Sales!

Clear Left!

I got mine for around 50 bucks and I had to put it on the shelf or I was going to just start building it right away! I need to take care of a few more things on the "honey do" list before I can lock myself in my office and really enjoy building this kit. It looks like it will be an awesome project.

That iz a GOOD PRICE!

I was at the Hobby Shop yesterday and they had a opened CH46-E on the counter and man I tell you guys.....

I was really impressed! WOW!! what a nice kit! the pics Iv'e seen of the parts on the net do not do this kit any justice at all! and the clear parts were very crisp!

I have a side job this weekend and I know what I'm picking up!

I can't wait! 1/35 would be nice but this is a big step for Helo Kits!

Stopped by the LHS in San Diego and they have the kit going for $45.99 + tax. Not too bad.

Is there any chance this would be coming in 1/35? The model looks great but I prefer to build 1/35 heli's and this is 1/48.

Well, I stopped in the LHS today, and what did they have but two Phrogs sitting on the shelf! So I went home, got my cash and made a second trip out and picked one up! I had to keep it short and to the point or I would have walked out of there with a -46, a LCM, a DUKW and a Super Sherman!

Now that I'm on leave, I'll have to get me some building time in...

That's a good idea, I've got some birthday and father's day "credit" saved up from my little "trip" so I may just use that up to get me a Phrog. I just haven't actually seen one at the LHS yet.

If I get the Phrog and the LCM at the same time from Squadron, then the shipping is free! Don't know how well the wife would go for that, but she hasn't come right out and said "NO" yet, so there may be hope.

They've been Phrogs for as long as I've been in the Green Machine.

Only been home a week, but I did get a chance to browse the old LHS, but no Phrogs to be seen, so sad. I'll give it a couple more weeks before I start to look online for one, but I will be getting one in the near future. Keep the info coming.

BTW, to any modelers that have gone to the air show this weekend here in London Ontario, how about putting up some of your pict's on the board??

I wasn't at that show, but we had a small fly-in at the Edmonton municipal airport a couple of weekends ago that attracted a Canadian Forces' CH-146 Griffon helicopter in a commemorative D-Day scheme, you all can look forward to that as soon as I get the roll finished and developed.

Yeah, I saw it in the window of my LHS for about $60 bucks. Wrong Scale for me, as I prefer Helio's to be in 1/35 scale! I have on order the DAP Blackhawk, and I have done the workup walk around book (my own) on it.
