I just picked up Trumpeter's Mi-8MT/Mi-17 Hip-H in Denver. Wow, what a kit. It'll look really good with a Hind when I get around to buying one.

I'm working on that kit now, been at it almost a month now. It is pretty much going to be out of the box. Any extra details will be on the exterior.
I already assembled and painted all the armament... get ready to spend alot of time on those.I'm getting ready to paint the fuselage and rotors now.

I saw that kit!!!! I actually already have it.....it is "in progress" while we speak. I am sorry that I missed ya in Phoenix. Mike said that you had stopped by to say hi to him. I saw another vendor offering the P-38 for $119.00!!!! I thought that was a bit outrageous for being a convention. Charging full MSRP seems odd to me. I am glad you picked up your kit for a decent price!!! (I paid 90 for mine when it first came out)

I just picked up this today at the IPMS Nationals! I had wanted to get it when the came out but Im glad I waited. I paid 70.00 for the kit which is a great price for me since I rarely order off the web and I mostly pay retail. Nice part is the guy that was selling it had a stack of pictures to go with it so its like getting a walk around with it for free.
