help with CH-46E from Academy
Posted by glock232 on Sunday, November 14, 2004 9:55 PM
Has anyone else done the "Bullfrog" kit from academy? im stumped on one part of the directions. (sorry i dont remember the xact step, but i do all my research while im "workign" and all my building at home so i dont have the book with me.. )
Its one of the first steps, right before the interior painting insturctions, its the first time you use the completley clear front of the chopper. it tells you to drill 2 holes in the nose. then it tells you to glue in 2 pieces from other sprues? i dont se these on any of the pictures i have looked at what are they susposed to go there?

sorry this request is so vague but im sure if you did the model recently you can figure out what i mean? I am doing version 3 of the model.

Thanks
Joe

I don't have the instructions in front of me, but are the holes in the bulbous part of the nose by the avionics bay access panel? If so, then some Phrogs have aerials/sensors up front, hence the two holes. I haven't seen them on Fleet Phrogs.
