Did a little blending to tone down the o.d. camo pattern -   "Old School" method of dark wash, lightened base colors applied, dry brushing and another medium wash. Still a ways to go yet -

... he's only 90% done and I've still got two more figs to go and the groundwork.

Picking up where I left off, groundwork on the way this weekend .......

... upon examination from this angle, that gun needs a bit work here and there as well.

A little more work and this project will be finished.... still requiring some work on the figures, the gun and groundwork but for the most part, it's about done.

The flowering thistles were made from dried caspia fern and painted accordingly, the tall grass was cut from an inexpensive natural bristle 4" paint brush and set with the others into a celluclay mixture(while wet) that was tinted green. The tall grass was later airbrushed the appropriate shade of green.
