Thank you very much, yes, I did used them, funny that the online instructions are so different from paper ones. On line instructions are more clear but still a lot of deduction has to be made.

Still have to build the second house and some figures.

I will then move to painting.

That's looking nice. I didn't realise these buildings would be so tricky, they look pretty straight forward at first glance. Look forward to seeing more.

I have completed the assembly of buildings and I had to do a lot of trimming at the base of each one since they do not fit together, a huge gap that is impossible to fix in one of them (right). I will have to use a lot of debris to cover this gaps. 

I started priming yesterday and ran out of paint, but, I also have to buy a lot of not your usual "armor" colors which I do not have like, bright blue, bright yellow, blue, red brownish, etc... so I have to buy these paints in order to continue.

I will start assembling the figures now.

I like your honest opinion regarding the vacuum formed buildings.

Check a local hardware store for Krylon plastic specific spray paints, primer grays and red oxide colors would work well as a base coat for your buildings.

I have continued some work, not a lot, but some...

Finished the primer, and painted one of the interiors with green, altgough it is too bright for now.. I will fix it with several layers of weathering, dust, etc.

Started paiting the street cobblestone and some foundation colors for the debris. A lot still has too be done..this project will take me months, specially with my tight agenda.

Here is another update...starting to look very good. I got a very nice red color on the roof and with the pre-shading looks awesome. Still I will have to do a lot of darkwash and some different tile colors and bricks...sprayed a little all over the street to ad a thin red color to the scene from brcik dust.

Phew....some more detailed work done to the house. 

Painstakinly painting brick by brik in at least a variety of 8 eight red/brown/black tones, which gives it a nice variety.

Also the wood looks very nice. 

Still a lot to be done, a lot of brown washes for dirty, a lot of detailed streaking, weathering and dusting.

I finally finished the house...Im calling it completed... for the diorama Im thinking of only using one of the houses, when using the two, it looks too crowded. Im still thinking what to puse on the side of the house, a machine gun emplacement, a pile of debris, a gun... 

I will start now working on the street, addig a lot of debris, sand, rocks, wood, used drums, garbage, maybe some damaged furniture...

I really like how it finally turned out! ... specially the broke, windows and the advertising posters. 

Keep in mind this is my first diorama ever.

Im working on my first DIO and i can feel youor pain with the MINIART building . The kits are not very well setup as far as instructions material or user friendly patterns.

Now that's really nice, defiantly better than my previous attempts at buildings.

My apologies if this has already been explained,but did you scratch the shutters or are they part of the kit

Well, finally had some free time...spouse away with the kids to visit family.. , so I was able to do a lot of work. Added more ground, rocks and dust. Also added some wood debris and a sign.

I added some big wooden beams to prevent house from collapsing...

Added some dry brushes, but also added some green and a flower, I think a litle bit of color adds some warm to the chaos. Also, nature tends to find life and blosoom even in the worst environments.

I will not work on the figures, I have been delayed since im missing some colors, also found out that the house seems too big for the figures. I will have to work with perspective.  ; again, MiniArt dissapoints me..

Still, I have not finished, Im missing the street lamps and other accesories.

So, here its, hope you like it...

Yes, I know, I being changing the name of my diorama but it really has changed from my initial vision.

So finally finished it! after 7 months!!!...wow!, this was complex.

I like it very much how it turned out....taking in consideration it is my first one !!!

The only thing I do no like are the figure faces...I must had painted one of them at least 10 times and still could not achieve the result I wanted. I need some face to face classes....

Anyway, I know I am not at the level of other hobbyists..but I tried I really tried...

OK, so here it is. Sorry for so many pics but...is my first baby, and I think it has so many details its worth it.

GREAT JOB! Very impressive...makes me want to do a full blown diorama. My first one will be a plane and some ground equipment and crew, nothing fancy just a dip in the water so to speak. Also, I dont think anyone here will ever complain about too many pictures!

This was my firts dio and it was too much tiume consuming, I have a stock of armo to be built.

That's the things with dio's, they can be time consuming, especially when you start adding buildings and lots of figures. But you can do dio's with simple bases that don't take to long, the Pz III I finished recently took about 5 weeks, so don't worry, its not always a long task.

Very nice work on those buildings, I have a couple Mini Art buildings and had to brace the interior with stock styrene, theres no way to glue this ends together that don't match. Great job on the 251, really cool in B & W. Question, how did you paint and weather the base? Terry

The base was painted with several washes of oils of burnt umber, light brown very thinned. It also has some AK oil stain and finally a lot of backyard dirt, AK pigments, crushed red brick.
