Wow, sharp work! Love how you've got the prop wash on the water!

That's impressive work there, as said the water effects are excellent, as is the overall detail considering how much is going on. You can even super detail the face as you know who the pilot is!

I read "Low level hell" a couple of years ago & thoroughly enjoyed it, it's somewhere up there in my top 5 reads.

Great detail work! What material(s) did you use to make the water in the rice paddies?

Here are overall views of the diorama...because of the Palms tree and vegetation is difficult to see all the elements of the dio in a aerial view ...

The last two are wip pictures, and the last one was a mockup to see the effect of the flying helicopter...

The water was made with clear poliester resin, something like the envirotex in USA, a resin with a hardener...tree coats...foam made first picking up the resin before cure with a teeth wood stick, and later with an acrilic clear gloss "heavy" product (like woodland scenics water effects), apllied with the stick from down to up...the foam made by helicopter was made (after the resin cured) with Woodland Scenics water effects, with a brown acrilic filter after cured.

Santiago, WOW! This is truly impressive. I believe it's some of the best I've seen at capturing the "moment." Thanks for sharing it with us.

Gorgeous work.  There are so many things that you did so well.  Even the photos are cropped well and composed well. I am particularly impressed with the work you did with the water.  Congratulations!   I think you nailed it!  Love it.

The figure in the third picture, the guy with the cycling shorts,  has quads like mine. Are you sure he's not a mountain biker? I also have to express the amazement over the details, and see the many parts as excellent patterns for my own weathering. Thanks Santiago.

Awesome stuff.  Cockpit and figures are definitely tops.  One of the best books I've ever read was "Low Level Hell".  The OH-6 is a neat chopper.  Those pink and red team guys had huge cajones.
