That's beautiful work, both the figures and the diorama setting itself. I love the rusted-out look of the bridge.

And the two figures right there in the middle gives a sense of isolationism as the guy pleads for help for his wounded compatriot... ack, now I'm talking like some high-faluting art critic...

Magazine material here. How did you build and paint the bricks oft the building?

Wow!  Great attention to detail, but you should really consider taking closer photos that show your work.  The figures are central to your theme, but are only shown at distance in the photos.  Does your lens have macro focusing?  If so, get in close!  Ditto on the details of the structures and bridge.  I want to see more...

Awesome and deeply artistic and powerful. I Love how you resisted the urge to put a vehicle in it and to focus on the human aspect of war; the loss, the loneliness, the quiet trgaedies that never make it onto the Hollywood screen. WELL DONE, and impressive in the skill of building!

As a side note, I did a vignette very similar to this with the same general figure layout and called it "Fur Die Vaterland" Nowhere near as impressive in scale, and using Revell figures in the same poses. :)

OK. My first thought was "Great work, but he violated one of the cardinal rules of diorama building. Thou shalt not have too much wasted space." But the more I look at it, The more all that space gives a sense of isolation and loneliness. Which I think was your intent all along.  Great job! The finishing work on the buildings and rubble could not be better!

A truly bitter sweet scene. Nicely though out..... That was a very sad war.

Agree with the others. The scene leaves an empty feeling in you. A true statement to War is Hell.
