Diorama Bandai Star Wars Perfect Grade 1/72 Scale Millennium Falcon
Posted by itistheway on Saturday, November 28, 2020 11:20 AM

I am very amateur modeler for starters. Roughly 3 years ago I re-lived my childhood days. Star Wars obviously came to mind. Three years later this is what happened. I decided to build the Bandai Star Wars Perfect Grade 1/72 Scale Millennium Falcon. I got a wee bit carried away lol. A fully lit millennium falcon shooting out of Bay 94. Not quite complete but will share one shot for now. My time is limited so I may not be able to respond in record time. Thanks enjoy.

Itistheway:

Don't yell Please! Your lettering jumped out at me. Use standard font, Please? I  Saw your Falcon. Although looking somewhat like a Beater Spaceship. She is one of my favorites. Kinda like an old Rusty 54 Ford Pickup I see every time I go to Home Depot!

How much room do you have dedicated right now? Although Corellian, Did they copy the FORD F-5000 freighter?

Sorry for yelling I cranked down the font. I am pretty sure the Falcon was inspired by the TV show Space 1999 along with a flattened Mc Donalds cheeseburger. So yes the F-5000 freighter no doubt was the inspiration. Maybe a good next project.

Another month I should be done. Very tough time finding 1/87 scale storm troopers. Might bend and get a 3d printer lol.

Well thank you it was exciting to have it finished. The mounted the falcon by modifying a camera mount. Still paranoid it may give out one day lol.
