Nice rendition of the little guys. The little guys have been my bane, as I always seem to end up with "Marty Feldman eyes," where one eye looks somewhat serious, while the other invokes a "what the heck is he looking at?" But I'm waiting for the model "Frau Muller," which will go towards my current diorama. Because it was ordered from the Ukraine to save on shipping costs (though expected delivery exceeds 30 days), it will give me time to practice. Again, nice work, Model Maniac.

Thanks for your kind comments. My artist "Joh" is a good figure painter though not as good as "PJ".

I think I know the site in Ukraine that you ordered "Frau Muller". It offers free shipping if you're in US and your order is over $150, right? If so, it the same site that I've ordered for so many years. But delivery to Thailand takes around two weeks only.

Model Maniac, thank you for the info. I wanted to add, that I like the skin tone on your little guys. The skin tone is what draws the viewer in for a closer look, whereupon the details can be enjoyed. The Ukraine site, found in Amazon, is "Plastic Model Store." I thought with the political turmoil over there, my order might be in jeopardy. But at the same time, I wanted to patronize this troubled nation, by purchasing something from them. Their free shipping was another attraction.  Model Maniac, I'm here in southern California, in the city of Culver City, and like you suggested, might be the reason for the extended shipping times. But that is okay. I have a lot of patience, but I believe that is fundamental to all modelers. Looking forward to seeing more modeling from you.

You will probably see him post more models, but none of them are by him. Just so you know, he doesn't build any of them himself, he pays others to build them and then he posts them here looking for "Wow, that looks great!!" comments.

Okay, here is a little guy from my Soviet Aerosan armored sled (Trumpeter 1/35th scale), taken from the vehicle and posed along side in a winter diorama, "The Sleep Without Dreams". What is really strange is this little guy somewhat resembles me. I apologize for posting my pics on your forum, but I thought that it might be the best way to show, since there is a common theme here, which is the little guys.

The figure from Trumpeter looks nice, but the MG is not so. What brand is your MG?

Model Maniac, good eye. The machine gun is not the one that came with the Aerosan armored sled. Rather it is taken from Tamiya's German Infantry Weapons set.
