Thanks all. I was hoping for the left side since I want to put the right side up against a structure.

I would say out of the loaders hatch as well.

I think on the jadgpanzer IV the spent rounds would be tossed out of the loaders hatch on the left side of the tank. I don't think there is a port on the back of the superstucture, also if they were firing heavily the engine deck would become clogged. Hope this helps.
