Bucksco If I recall correctly the M8/M20 were produced after he moved on from monogram and was doing work for Tamiya and some other companies.

Thanks Brad - much appreciated! It was a "Nostalgia" build. I've always really liked this figure set (even though it's close to 50 years old!) and a coworker had given me the armored car because he knew I was into military modeling. It just kind of fell together and I really enjoyed the trip down memory lane. Maybe next time we we'll be able to say hello at the show!
I saw this at MFCA last weekend-I didn't realize it was yours. I was impressed and I think you show what can be done with a Monogram kit, when so many modelers today turn up their noses at them. Well done, Jack!

Oh great job there on the M20, figures, groundwork, and overall composition.
Wonder if Shep just never got around to this one?
Very cool diorama! Great depiction.

Nicely done.

Great tribute/homage with the old school figures and kit!
I wonder why the M8/M20 never received the Shep treatment....

This diorama is my humble "Homage" to Shep Paine. It features the old Valiant Minatures Battle of the Bulge figure set and the only Monogram 1/32 scale piece of armor that Shep never did a diorama sheet for - the M8/M20 Armored car. Enjoy!
