Making the best out of a bad situation
Posted by B-1 CrewCheif on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 10:24 PM

Hello all,

So time for me to finally commit to one of these beuild threads especially with my dioramas.

So ive decided to do a diorama based around the Tamiya 1:35 Ford Amphibious Jeep that im titling "Making the best out of a bad situation" Hense the title of the thread.

My idea is to have the Amphibian broken down in the middle of a lake, having 2 GIs working on the engine with another one sitting on the back with a fishing pole.

Ill put up a rough sketch of what im planning soon.

For the figures im planning on useing the MiniArt Motorcycle repair crew set as it comes with a large amount of tools and the perfect figures.

stay tuned

Sounds like a great idea!  Maybe have it closeish to the shore with troops waiving them on.  A beer with the guy fishing would be cool

Thanks,

John

Have a guy looking up and motioning down a hook, that we can't see...

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
