1/35 MiniArt diorama kits?
Posted by Kelvinator on Saturday, February 23, 2019 11:36 PM

I have been doing research on the MiniArt 1/35 diorama line of products like buildings and bases etc and none of the feedbacks came back are positive. It suffers either poor fitting which requires an advance skill of putty work or cheap quality of plastic with the price they ask for. Anyone has any experience on their kits to share with?

I have an Italian Villa building, i found it real nice in the fact that it has interior/ exterior detail, styrene doors and window frames, no glass, and a small base to set it on. That being said, the plastic works similar to a vacu-form kit, and yes the seams are nasty. I haven't finished it yet as I need to figute out how to make secure mating joints.

we're modelers it's what we do

A friend with zero vac-form experience successfully built one.  It was a cobblestone street with a partial stone wall.  He used it for a Bandai 1/35 Batman Tumbler.
