Super 3D Stuff
Posted by Tanker - Builder on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 8:14 AM

My Museum hosted a Train Show this weekend ( The 13th and 14th ).

This is what prompted this . I was looking for a rubber tired overhead Traveling Crane for a Boat diorama . There was a Vendor . WOW ! His stuff was awesome ! He had the crane I needed . Also he said he could modify it and add a scale six feet to the heighth .

Now here's the Wow , Every part of the crane , from the tires all the way up to the top rails protecting the hydraulics, she's 3D printed with Nary a print line or depression visible to the Naked Eye . She's made of ABS and so finely printed you can read the instruments in the control cab .

This in H.O. Scale !! Now the one in 1/24 is going to cost me Five bills and the H.O. one will be half that ! Still , he is going to effect a trade . I will do him some ship related plans and he will do my cranes . This group of " Stuff' included Air Handling equipment for building roofs too .Would you believe a Stainless looking finish from Krylon Matte Chrome Spray Paint ? Yup ! Anyway I had to share this with you .Next time I will share his name too .    T.B.

TB,

Does he have a website? I'd would be interested in seeing what he has available.
