Really enjoyed both of your dioramas! The kind of detail and story telling that makes you want to come back and look multiple times. Thanks for sharing your work!

Cool diorama. Takes me back to the old days of my Dad having old cars in the yard.

Not used to flicker, but this method is pretty easy after playing with it for a few:

I clicked on a couple of your links and it took me to flicker

I clicked on the share 'swoosh arrow' in the lower right

A window pops up with 3 tabs.  Click on bbcode and copy the entire string.

Paste the sting directly in your post.

Hello;

This is to let you know we knew your still was there. We were hoping you would lead us to your distributer! That's how well that is done. Very belieavable Diorama. I especially like the way you did the house and the product in the trunk of the car!

Yeah, that's fantastic! I love it too!!!

Only quibble is I don't think I'd put the still outside my house. I'd put it somewhere better concealed!!! But I understand you have to compress things in a dio!

Speaking from a man who watches the show "Moonshiners" on the Discovery Channel every week, I love these dioramas!  Your diorama skills are excellent!  You should contact the producers of the show and ask them to either use your two dioramas as prop in the background on "Master Distiller" or as a prize on that show.  Any plans for another one?

Typically you can right click on any image (somehow flicker prevents this) and a pop up menu comes up.  Click on 'Copy Image Address' then surround that address with image tags like this (no spaces in the real deal)

[I M G]<address>[/I M G]

For example - this great pick address is at:

https://prohibition.themobmuseum.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/SEAY_8-1.jpg

I post it here by surrounding with the IMG tags

Thanks,

John

By the way, any help on how to post proper pics, lemme know. I've been through the FAQ and still can't seem to master it.

Drivers, no. But my grandfather built a few 1940 Fords that raced at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston Salem, NC. :)

Another very cool dio.  The house looks awesome, especially like the old siding.  Cool that there's some family history there.  Any NASCAR drivers in the family tree?

Thanks,

John

Thought I might share another build. Moonshine Number Two is a late-1940's hidden moonshine still behind an old house somewhere in America, post-WWII. My family went back a generation making illegal moonshine in rural Appalachia here in the United States. It's a reminder of that history.

1/25 scale 1940 Ford from the Revell Standard Coupe kit and is box stock other than the photoetch grill.

The base is again just styrofoam block and sandy dirt this time. All paints are the cheap Walmart craft acrylics, all hand-painted (I don't use airbrushes).
